These verses then urge us to gain a deeper understanding of the role the Holy Spirit plays in our lives and how God is at work, reminding us to be mindful of our words and actions that may hinder that very work. It underscores the need for humility, a heart of repentance, and also a sincere desire to truly know, understand, and be united with God’s will.
